About Yamato Kendokai

２０２６年春、ウィーンに３０年ぶりの新しい剣道場が誕生しました。
日本の礼節を大切にし、剣道を通じて心身を磨き、自分自身を高めていく場を目指しています。
初心者から上級者まで、国籍・年齢を問わず、お互いを尊重し、温かく学び合える道場にしたいと願っています。
また、出稽古や大会、講習会に参加することで、剣道の世界を広げて、「交剣知愛」の精神を養えるように取り組んでいます。

Spring in 2026 - A new Kendo dojo was born in Vienna after 30 years!
We aim to be a place where we honor Japanese etiquette and cultivate both mind and body through the practice of Kendo.
Everyone is warmly welcome - from beginners to advanced Kendo-ka, regardless of nationality or age. We strive to create a respectful and supportive environment where we can learn and grow together.
We also strive to broaden our horizons in the Kendo world and cultivate the spirit of ‘Kōken Chi-ai’ by taking part in the competitions and seminars.
